PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
Private instruction is available to refresh skills and/or techniques that you have already learned but may be struggling with.

Please note: We typically do not teach soldering as a private lesson because we believe that you need a foundation in metalsmithing to effectively solder. If you would like to take the beginning curriculum as private lessons/class, it will take a minimum of 8 hours of instruction. Instruction is defined as the instructor explaining and demonstrating the skills. The lesson may not allow you time to practice the skill. You may also need to purchase studio time in order to practice the skills you are taught.

Rates:
1/2 hour = $45 (1person)
1 hour = starting at $75 (1 person)
1 hour = starting at $110 (2 people)
Materials may be required and are not included in the rates.

Scheduling:
To schedule private instruction, contact Jen Derickson at jen@kpstudiophx.com

For most lessons, we require a deposit of $20 for a 1 hour lesson and $15 for a 30 minute lesson due at the time of scheduling. Please understand that the deposit is non-refundable as it takes us time to prepare for your lesson. The beginning curriculum as a private class is a commitment, therefore the full amount of the class is due at the time of scheduling and is non-refundable. All 8 hours must be scheduled up front (often broken into 4 separate sessions). If you need to reschedule any portion of the class, you must notify Jen at least 72 hours in advance. Failure to give 72 hours notice will result in your forfeiting that lesson.
